One of the West End’s longest-running musicals is showing at the London Palladium for a limited ten-week season, from 23 October 2015 until the 2 January 2016.

Show Description – Cats the Musical
The legendary musical Cats has returned to the London Palladium. The recent revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s much-loved musical began on 23 October 2015 and concludes on 03 January 2016.
Cats the musical is based on T.S. Elliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats. The story is centred on a tribe of cats known as the Jellicles and the ‘the Jellicle Choice’, the night they decide which cat must ascend to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a new Jellicle life.
The musical had its world premiere in 1981 at the New London Theatre, where it played almost 9,000 performances over 21 years.
Featuring incredible dance sequences, the production was the winner of the Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best Musical. It has also received an incredible seven Tony awards.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production reunites Cats’ original creative team, including director Trevor Nunn, associate director and choreographer Gillian Lynne and designer John Napler.
