We are delighted to welcome Sheridan Smith back to Funny Girl on Monday to Saturday week commencing 11th July(excluding the Wednesday matinee and Thursday evening performances at which Natasha J Barnes will perform). From the week commencing 18 July, Sheridan is scheduled to perform Tuesday through Saturday, with Natasha playing Fanny Brice on Monday evenings. This schedule is subject to change, but we look forward to continuing to entertain audiences at the Savoy Theatre until our run ends on 8 October.

Show Description – Funny Girl
Following a record-breaking run at the Menier Chocolate Factory where it broke box office records and became the fastest-selling show in the theatre’s history, Funny Girl is showing at the Savoy Theatre in the West End.
With a book by Isobel Lennart and music by Bob Merrill and Jule Styne, the story is centred on Fanny Brice, one of Broadway’s biggest stars, who rose to fame and fortune from the Lower East Side of New York. The musical features many great songs, including “I’m the Greatest Star”, “People” and “Don’t Rain on My Parade.”
Funny Girl has not returned to the West End since its 1966 premiere, when Barbara Streisand famously originated the role of Fanny.
