Show Description – Barmy Britian Gala
To mark the tenth anniversary of Horrible Histories’ popular live shows, Barmy Britain – Part Three will perform a special Gala show. The performance will include some of the barmiest and favourite scenes from Part One and Two.
This special Horrible Histories show runs for 90 minutes and features cameo appearances by Terry Dreary, one of the Horrible Histories authors, and Martin Brown, who co-illustrated the books. Dreary and Brown will also be singing after the show.
Barmy Britain – Part Three is teeming with colour and craziness, and bursting with wild new characters from Britain’s barmy past.
Audiences at the Garrick Theatre can enjoy 90 thrilling minutes of guessing whether the Duke of Wellington will really get the boot, clapping along to the absurd King Charles, and making a great escape from the First World War, and that’s just for starters!
This tenth anniversary special will also see crazed Vikings, an evil Elizabeth, a dishonourable Dick Turpin and a euphoric Queen Victoria joining the stage, in what promises to be a showdown of Britain’s tumultuous history to remember.
