On Sunday 29 November 2015, Kings of Broadway: Herman, Sondheim & Styne is performing at the Palace Theatre on the West End. The show runs for two hours 30 minutes, including one twenty minute interval.
Show Description – Kings of Broadway: Herman, Sondheim & Styne
Conducted by Alex Parker who has been described as one of the most exciting young contemporary music leaders in Britain, and directed by Alastair Knights, one of the West End’s youngest ever directors, Kings of Broadway celebrates the music of three legendary Broadway composers – Jerry Herman, Stephen Sondheim and Jule Styne.
This evening of incredible music is put together by the creative talent of the A Little Night Music Concert, which was shown at the Palace Theatre earlier this year.
An all-star cast will take centre stage, including Alistair Brammer, Michael Colbourne, Janie Dee, Richard Fleeshman and Jamie Parker, amongst others. Playing alongside the talented cast, will be a 30-piece orchestra, performing the iconic music of three of the most prolific musical theatre composers of modern times.
The star-studded cast will perform the music of many celebrated shows, including Hello Dolly, Mame, LA Cage Aux Folles, Dear World, Gypsy, Funny Girl, Sunday in the Park with George, Gentlemen Prefers Blonde, Follies, Company, and many more.
