Much-loved actor, comedian and writer, Griff Rhys Jones is returning to the West End following a five-year absence, to star in Moliere’s classic comedy, The Miser. This hilarious new adaptation of The Miser is directed by Sean Foley and Phil Porter.
Griff Rhys Jones plays the suspecting Harpagon, a man whose obsessed by protecting his wealth and believes everyone is out to fleece him. So infatuated is Harpagon about protecting his fortunes, that he aims to find wealthy partners for his children, so they too can stay well away from his money.
Will the miserly father allow his children to follow their hearts, or will his obsession for fortune override everything? Prepare to laugh out loud as the plot thickens in this classic comedy by a dramatist hailed as France’s greatest.
