Twelve Angry Men Tickets

Based on the classic 1957 Oscar nominated film starring Henry Fonda, itself adapted from a play of the same name by Reginald Rose.  The play tells the story of a jury made up of 12 men as they deliberate the guilt or acquittal of a defendant on the basis of reasonable doubt. In the United States, both then and now, the verdict in most criminal trials by jury must be unanimous one way or the other.

12 Angry Men explores many techniques of consensus-building, and the difficulties encountered in the process, among a group of men whose range of personalities adds intensity and conflict. Arguments ensue and prejudices surface in this quite brilliant story. It is taught and tense and a fascinating insight in to the human emotions.

The play is about jurors who have murder on their minds and a life in their hands as they decide the fate of a young delinquent accused of killing his father.

One of the starts of the show is the original Man From Uncle and Oscar nominee Robert Vaughn. Robert has most recently starred as  Albert Stoller in BBC‘s Hustle as well as some of the greatest movie classics of all time, including The Magnificent Seven, The Towering Inferno and Bullitt.

The Jury are out and what appears to be an open and shut case soon becomes a huge dilemma as morals are questioned and prejudices and preconceived ideas about the accused, the trial and each other surface. The deliberations are not so simple and there are many twists and turns along the way that keep you in suspense right until the nail-biting climax.
