Authentic Indian culture
Following sell-out success in Mumbai, Beyond Bollywood is moving to the UK taking London audiences on a truly authentic tour of Indian culture at its most expressive.
This creative dance spectacular has been described as being a “monsoon of emotion that brings fire, heat and desire of Indian folk dance to the heart of London.”
The plot focuses on Shaily Shergill who leaves her home in Germany to travel to India in order to fulfil her mother’s dying wish to resurrect the family’s failing theatre.
Bollywood talent at its finest
Several of the most renowned and talented creative artists in Bollywood have come together to deliver a powerful and impassioned show.
Celebrated Bollywood director, choreographer and writer Rajeev Goswami, directs, writes and choreographs Beyond Bollywood. Goswami is joined by Irfan Siddiqui who is responsible for the performance’s lyrics and Salim-Sulaiman, who features an original score in the show.
Beyond Bollywood will run at the London Palladium for eight weeks from May 8 – June 27, 2015.
This vibrant spectacle of authentic Indian dance runs for two hours and 15 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.
