It has been announced that Michael Flatley will be making a series of special performances on the stage of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games at London’s Dominion Theatre
The legendary Irish star is returning to the West End
Flatley will return to what has been dubbed as the ‘world’s most successful dance show’. The legendary dancer will star in a total of 16 performances all on Friday and Saturday evenings from May 8 to June 27, 2015.
The American-born Irish dancer, choreographer and musician had to cancel several planned Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games appearances due to his father passing away in March.
Flatley is also due to make a special appearance at the Lord of the Dance’s final UK Tour date at Wembley Arena on July 4, 2015.
Ground-breaking technology
With pioneering technology, including dancing robots and holographs, an incredible team of Irish dancers and world champion acrobats, Flatley’s Dangerous Games is becoming a phenomenal success.
During the next 18 months Dangerous Games is on a huge international tour, spanning 15 countries and more than 200 dates.
The dancers are the ‘real stars’
Referring to his dancers as being the “real stars”, Flatley says he is immensely proud of the hard work and dedication of all the dancers involved with making Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games as spectacular as it is.
The show is led by the new young superstar James Keegan, who took up Irish dancing at the tender age of four.
Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games will run at the Dominion Theatre until 5 September 2015.
