Written by the comic genius herself, 30 Million Minutes is based on the life and career of Dawn French, one of the UK’s most popular and successful comedians.
The show takes the audience through ’30 million minutes of life’ – the length of time Dawn has been alive – give or take a minute or two for sure! The comedian addresses things life has thrown at her and the lessons she has learned.
The award-winning actor, best-selling novelist and ‘Queen of British comedy’, admits the show is a play, not stand up and not a monologue.

Directed by Michael Grandage and produced by the Michael Grandage Company and Phil McIntyre Entertainments, 30 Million Minutes has previously been on a sold out UK tour.
A household name in television, namely through the French and Saunders series and The Vicar of Dibley, Dawn French is no stranger to West End stage. Her most recent West End credits include ‘Smaller’ at the Lyric Theatre in 2001, ‘French and Saunders – Still Alive’ at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in 2008.
