On Thursday 26 May, 2016 the stage at the Palladium will be set for the Grammy Award-winning, multi-talented American artist, CeeLo Green.
CeeLo Green burst onto the music scene as a member of the hip-hop band, Goodie Mob. Following success with the band, CeeLo reinvented himself in another group known as Gnarls Barkley. In 2006, the band enjoyed great success with their album ‘Crazy’, which reached Number One in music charts around the world.
Following his success with Gnarls Barkley, CeeLo concentrated on his solo career and in 2010 released his album, ‘The Lady Killer’. The album’s hit single ‘Forget You’, received five Grammy Award nominations, and went on to win the award for ‘Best Urban/Alternative Performance.
Last year, the successful artist released a new album titled ‘Heart Blanche’, featuring a string of great singles, including ‘Sign of the Times’, ‘Robin Williams’, ‘Work’ and ‘Music to my Soul’.
CeeLo Green has also become a familiar personality on US TV, featuring as a coach in four seasons of the hugely popular show The Voice, starring alongside Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.
This live performance at the London Palladium follows CeeLo Green’s successful ‘Love Train’ tour in the US.
The one-off Palladium show will see CeeLo and his band perform old classics alongside new material from his latest album in a one-off show that’s not to be missed.
