Marking the 25th anniversary since the release of his ground-braking album, Passion and Warfare, Steve Vai has announced a global tour, including a concert at the London Palladium
Steve Vai is coming to the London Palladium this June
The three-time Grammy Award winner and fifteen-time Grammy nominee, was voted as the 10th “Greatest Guitarist” by Guitar World. He has sold more than 15 million records.
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, the guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer, is embarking on a worldwide tour, to celebrate 25 years of his iconic album, Passion and Warfare.
Passion and Warfare is widely regarded as one of the greatest instrumental rock guitar albums of all time.
For the first time ever, Steve Vai will performing Passion and Warfare in its entirety, together with a few extra surprises.
Vai spoke of his excitement to be performing his ground-breaking album, saying:
“Performing this record from top to bottom (with some very special surprises in the works) is something I’ve always dreamed of doing.”
“There are songs here I’ve never performed before, and I’m delighted that 25 years after its release, I feel as though my guitar chops are as much up to the task as ever before.”
Steve Vai is performing at the London Palladium for one night only on Thursday 2 June, 2016. The doors open at 7pm. Any under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
