Coming out later this year is the eagerly awaited film Les Miserables based on the hugely successful stage musical based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel set in 19th-century France, in which a paroled prisoner named Jean Valjean seeks redemption.
Les Miserables the musical continues to pack audiences in at the Queen’s theatre in London, and with the film due for release later this year expect to see a surge of interest in the show.
The film, whose trailer was released this week, boasts an amazing cast list including stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway along with Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter and one of the stars of the original stage version Colm Wilkinson.
