Marking the 100th year anniversary since his birth and 65 years since he debuted on the London stage in 1950, the entertainment legend Frank Sinatra is returning to the London Palladium…
In celebration of one of the greatest entertainers of the 20th century
In a multi-media concert which combines state-of-the-art technology, never seen before footage of the singer, master recordings made by Sinatra, a 24-piece orchestra and 20 singers and dancers, the concert celebrates the phenomenal life and work of a true music legend.
Feature Sinatra’s greatest hits
The show will feature all of Frank Sinatra’s greatest hits, including My Way, New York, New York and Come Fly With Me.
Forging an award-winning career in singing and acting, Frank Sinatra was one of the most iconic and popular entertainers of the 20th century. The American legend went on to sell more than 150 million records worldwide and win 11 Grammy Awards.
A debut UK performance at the London Palladium
In 1950 Sinatra made his debut appearance in the UK singing at the London Palladium in a show that was supported by the popular British music hall act of the mid-20th century, Wilson, Keppel and Betty.
The music legend died in 1998, aged 82.
Frank Sinatra’s daughter, Nancy Sinatra referred to the forthcoming shows as being extremely important.
“It is very important and going to be a big celebration. The Palladium was the first time he played any show outside of the United States and of course London was one of his favourite cities,” Nancy told reporters.
Sinatra will show at the London Palladium for a limited period from Friday 10 July until Saturday 10 October 2015.
