“A lot of people who know me from my more recent film work have no idea how much theatre has influenced my life. I saw my first musical at age 14, a show called 42nd Street, after one of my family’s dogs had unsuccessfully auditioned to be in it. It blew me away and I’ve love musical theatre ever since,” said Rebel Wilson.
Guys and Dolls originally opened in New York in 1950, where it performed more than 1200 performances.
Following the mishaps of a group of hilarious New York gangsters and featuring classic songs, including ‘Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat’ and ‘Luck Be A Lady’, Guys and Dolls has all the hallmarks of a gripping and highly entertaining musical.
