Good news for Michael Jackson fans! Thriller Live! production’s run on the West End has just been extended until April 2015.
If you’re a huge Michael Jackson fan but have yet to make it to the Big Smoke to see the hit show dedicated to the King of Pop himself, then you don’t have to worry – you’ll have plenty of time to book Thriller Live! tickets, as the production’s run on the West End has just been extended until April 2015.
The show, which opened in 2009, is currently on at London’s Lyric Theatre – more than two hours of relentless hit songs paying homage to Michael Jackson’s world-renowned live performances, directed by the award-winning Gary Lloyd. Thriller had previously only been granted a run up until September this year.
Over 40 years, Michael Jackson sold 750 million records around the world – a feat unparalleled by any other artist – with Thriller still coming top as the best-selling record the world has ever seen, so a show dedicated to him is sure to excite all fans… and introduce an entirely new generation of people to his music as well.
“Thriller Live! brings people together from all walks of life to celebrate the genius of Michael Jackson and his incredible music. They go home singing and dancing,” Nica Burns, chief executive of Nimax, which owns the Lyric Theatre, said.
If you haven’t been to see the show as yet, you can expect to hear all your favourite songs, including ABC, I Want You Back, Smooth Criminal, Can You Feel It, Dirty Diana, Billie Jean, They Don’t Care About Us, The Way You Make Me Feel… and a whole lot more!
