Marking the tenth anniversary of Horrible Histories’ live stage performances, a special Gala show of Barmy Britain – Part Three is to play at the Garrick Theatre in July
Britain’s craziest historical figures will set the stage on fire at the Garrick Theatre
Barmy Britain – Part Three is a brand new show centred on the wacky depictions of Britain’s nastiest history that both children and adults adore.
This 90-minute special show is bustling with some of the best-loved scenes from Part One and Part Two. The Balmy Britain spectacular will also feature crazy new characters from Britain’s balmy past, posing questions to the audience such as will the Duke of Wellington get the boot and will King John be a martyr for the Magna Carta?
Vicious Vikings will join the stage
Other characters from Britain’s colourful past will be joining the stage for this special performance of Balmy Britain – Part Three, including the vicious Vikings, partying Queen Victoria and the dastardly Dick Turpin.
The 90-minute special also features special cameo performances from Horrible Histories’ co-author Terry Deary and the books’ co-illustrator Martin Brown.
The Balmy Britain Gala is produced by the Birmingham Stage Company Ltd and is directed by Neal Foster.
This one-off special celebration of Horrible Histories’ live shows is playing at the Garrick Theatre on Monday 27 July at 2pm.
The show will run for 90 minutes without an interval.
The Balmy Britain – Part Three Gala is recommended for ages six and upwards.
