The West End looks foward to Michael Crawford’s return in The Go-Between at the Apollo Theatre
The Go-Between is based on L. P. Hartle’s novel from 1953 that tells the story of Leo Colston, an elderly man who accidentally unlocks hidden memories from the past. His mind goes back to the gloriously hot summer of 1900, which he spent at his friend Marcus’ lavish family country home.
A deeply moving story
Leo becomes trapped in an illicit love-affair between the beautiful upper-class Marian and the family famer, Ted. Acting as a go-between to their passionate affair, Leo releases this adult world of lies and deceit has shaped his life forever.
